I keep getting cards in the (postal) mail to join yet another class action suit. So far, I’ve won 250 free text messages and a free wireless earpiece from Verizon because they screwed around with the V710 phone I bought; WorldCom (need I say more?); a bunch of others that I let hubby the lawyer manage, and today’s: ordering something online and being sent more (which I did not order) but was hidden in the fine print (buy one and we’ll send you more and you’ll pay for it). This particular one is unimpressive: it’s an IE-only submission site, takes forever to submit answers, and returns “errors on this page” in my up-to-date browser. But every now and then, I get something free in the mail and often I never remember why.
