Want to see what it’s like to be homeless in Greensboro? Video link here [.wmv (Windows) format].
On Nov. 4, Leadership Greensboro (which sadly has no online presence anymore) is sponsoring a breakfast meeting to learn what you can do about homelessness in Greensboro. The program is called “Just the Right Spot*: Compassionate Collaboration to Bring Housing and Hope to Greensboro’s Homeless,” and “spot” is a term used to describe how homeless people refer to their “place to sleep.” Program starts at 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce and is led by Beth McKee-Huger and Cara Michele Forrest. You can register online here and there’s a small fee for breakfast. More info about the program is here.
Homeless in Greensboro
Sue! I really get a laugh everyday watching you and Ed trying to keep Mr Chairman straight on this blogging business in politics and his new venture to keep spiritual and politics away from each other with another blogging spiritual site. I have ever reason to suspect you are making progress with Mr Chairman. Whatever you do! Do not let him quit with his amazing and new improve church lady blog.
Yours for a better a James Dobson and Brother Pat Robertson in the 21 st century of repentance for Karl and Scooter. cmb
