NowStream brings ConvergeSouth live to the Web

Posted by – September 13, 2005 – Share on Facebook

NowStream is going to stream LIVE video and audio onto the Web at 30fps (English: fast). This group has also covered and broadcast live [free reg req] from The NY International Film & Music Festival; the Consumer Electronics Show in LV 2005; 100th Anniversary LV Wrangers Professional Hockey Las Vegas’ 100th Anniversary and Las Vegas Wranglers Professional Hockey and more. They’ll be covering the entire conference, Friday and Saturday, daytime sessions and evening music & media.

They’ll be interviewing attendees, conference organizers (mental note: it’s a “wear makeup” day), guest speakers, session leaders, and will take b-roll of special events, Greensboro cityscapes, buildings and more. One of the purposes of ConvergeSouth is to show off Greensboro – to heighten this city on the nation’s radar. NowStream.com is going to help us do that.

[Full disclosure: there is no charge by NowStream for this coverage and live broadcast/stream nor are they paying ConvergeSouth to film. After the broadcast, the tape goes into their archives and is viewed for free by site visitors, there are ads interspersed, like i-film. ConvergeSouth will be paid 50% of the advertising revenues generated by the archive viewing. Any revenue will be deposited into the ConvergeSouth fund at CFGG to use for ConvergeSouth for next year.]
